Lindsey Tucker at home artist session

In her studio Lindsey has a hand written note up on the wall which highlights “Diebenkorn’s rules” - not being an art person myself, I have no idea of the history or significance of these rules but I spent some time reading them when I was in her studio a couple of weeks ago for our session and I’ve spent some time pondering on them since. They are fun and provocative and this one especially feels like a pretty great rule for life - “mistakes can’t be erased but they move you from your present position”
Thanks to Lindsey for inviting me into her space and allowing me to watch and capture her while she creates the most beautiful art. Might just have to become an art person after all 🥰
