When a friend reaches out about updating their headshots, always convince them to bring extra clothes, roll in the grass, and jump outside their comfort zone. The final results will be worth it!
Camera settings: as usual I'm shooting with my Sony Alpha 6500 and my Sony 16-35 F2.8 lens. My goal is to always keep Emily with the light behind her. For these portraits I'm shooting in the 24mm-35mm range with a few slightly wide at 16mm-20mm, ISO 320, F2.8, and my shutter speed changing from 1/800 to 1/1250 based on light. Edited in Lightroom using my favorite Magnolia presets by Champagne Unicorns.
