Let's take a selfie
Updated: Jul 28, 2020
Haven’t been able to do much photography the last few days. Between job hunting, and interviewing, and having my in-laws in town we've been busy busy over here! Luckily on Tuesday after I’d finished up my interviews I was still feeling cute, our backyard flowers were blooming, and the light was good (!) so I decided to set up the camera and take some selfies.
Just a good reminder to never take yourself too seriously, to make time for things that bring you joy, and to always take advantage of those good hair days.
Camera settings: shooting with my Sony Alpha 6500 and my Sony 16-35 F2.8 lens. It's propped up on a chair on top of a pillow, I'm sitting on the ground, and I'm shooting slightly wide at 20mm, F2.8, 500 ISO, and 1/1600. Edited in Lightroom using my favorite Magnolia presets by Champagne Unicorns.

Childhood is June, and old age is August,
but here it is, July, and my life, this year, is July inside of July."
